Yuri Artemenko, the Head of the National TV and Radio Council, reported that the new law is being worked out now. According to law project information about TV-owners is to be public.
As it has been announced before, General Prosecutor Office investigating issue about Olexander Yanukovich (former President’s son) discovered that he owned three Ukrainian television channels.
That was one more reason for National TV and Radio Council to activate working on the law project. Providing the information about the owners will be obligatory to get license for broadcasting on the territory of Ukraine.
