Ericsson Company will be engaged in providing Video on Demand service and delivering content based on OTT technology for the TV4 Channel (incorporated in Bonnier Media Group).
In terms of the signed contract Ericsson will be engaged in addressing digital TV broadcasting problems, informing subscribers, copyright protecting, keeping billing and placing any kind of advertising.
Starting from this June, the on-line TV services will be available in Sweden, and later on in other Nordic countries. The content produced by Bonnier Group will be delivered on demand and in live stand-up, as well as it will be paid and free (for viewing ads). On top of that, it will be supported both by Android, Apple TV, iOS platforms and some of game consoles.
Applying Ericsson Managed Player allows the Company dealing entirely with the content development and production, without focusing on technical issues of on-line TV broadcasting.
