The Cabinet of Ministers regulates the import of radioelectronic equipment to Ukraine

The import of radioelectronic and radiating devices of special purpose regulated.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine fixed in its Resolution the list of radioelectronic and radiating devices of special purpose, as well as the procedure of their importing to the Ukrainian territory. The corresponding decision number №184 was adopted on April 8.
The Resolution specifies which devices are of special purpose. This is audio and visual equipment for alarm; radio navigation, radar units and remote control radio sets; telephones; devices for receiving and transmitting audio and video data; equipment for radio and television broadcasting.
The Resolution fixes the form of authorization for importing selected products to the Ukrainian territory, approved by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The decision on authorising or not the import of special products to Ukraine will be adopted within 10 days since the application date. The information about all issued permits the Ministry of Defense is obliged to submit to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers regulates the importing and operating procedure for radioelectronic means and radiating devices of special purpose. When crossing the Ukrainian border economic entities, engaged in transporting these devices, must present to the customs authorities a conformity certificate justifying that the imported device is authorized to use in Ukraine (issued by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), and a document authorizing its import to the country.
