The Government of the Republic of Belarus approved the list of public TV channels, published in the National Legal Internet Portal.

This directive will come into force as of June 1 this year.

We shall recall that previously the list consisted of the following TV channels: Belarus 1, Nationwide Television (ONT), Stolichnoe (Capital) TV (STV), Mir

(World), Russia-Belarus, NTV-Belarus, Belarus 2, Belarus 3. At the moment they were joined by the sports broadcaster Belarus 5 as well.

These channels are obliged to be spread by the content providers and telecom operators just in that sequence, preceding TV programs of other transmitted TV channels.

We shall also recall that on May 15 Belarus cut off analogue broadcasting by transfering completely to the digital one.
