Well-known Ukrainian TV presenter Savik Shuster now holds 50% of shares of the TV and Radio Company World News Service, as the news agency Interfax-Ukraine informs.
This information was announced during the meeting of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council. It was planned that during the meeting of the National Council the above channel would seek relicensing.
Previously, the channel was called Pravda Russian World Chanel, and now it is 3s.tv. In addition, Pavel Elizarov was the sole owner of TV and radio Company until present, and now its shares amount to 50%, and Savik Shuster became the holder of the second half of them.
As for relicensing, the National Council stated the postponement of settling the issue for the next week.
