The Ukrainian television will release Korean serials instead of the Russian ones. This statement was delivered by Yuriy Artemenko, the Head of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council, as UNN reports.
Artemenko pointed out that the Ukrainian audience would part from Russian serials not only because of their aggressive policy toward our country, but also due to the fact that their price became no longer suitable for us.
The Head of the National Council said that the Russians demanded from 20000 to 25000 USD just for one episode, while the Koreans asked just 200-300 USD.
Artemenko also added that the Korean TV serials are an actual real trend all over the world and particularly in Europe. In addition, the Korean TV industry is notable for a very high quality, good acting, competent screen stories and colorful shots, as the Head of the National Council assures.
Yuri Artemenko and Olga Gerasimyuk are to present the Korean TV serials to Ukrainian viewers starting next week.
As it is known, the law on partial banning the Russian media content came into force since June, 4.
