Yuriy Artemenko, who chairs the National Television and Broadcasting Council, offers to name supervisors for the popular social network Facebook on a competitive basis.
The Chairman of the National Council believes that the most widespread global social network may employ an officer who understands very well all the intricacies of such complicated relationship between Ukraine and its neighboring aggressor state. This opinion was expressed by Artemenko after meeting Thomas Christensen, Public Policy Director of the social network for Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation.
The Chairman of the media regulatory authority insists that the current situation in Ukraine should be understood not only without bias, but also felt. He believes that people outside Ukraine just can’t know what, how and why is happening in our country.
Artemenko adds that the position of the social network remained the same since the meeting held last year. The Chairman of the National Council expressed his hope that the company’s employees would find a qualitative solution of the problem at the global system level.
