The Slovak Media Company Towercom launched DTH-platform Voľná telka, the broadcasts of which are relayed by satellite Astra 3B, located in the orbital position 23.5°E.

The basic package of 11 TV channels, broadcasting from the platform, is free, but the platform will soon also offer the audience additional paid channel packages.
According to the portal Parabola.cz, the viewers wishing to obtain access to the platform, will have to buy a card or an access unit.
However, the access to the platform will be also provided by using Plustelka cards, the paid DTT-platform, operated by the Towercom Company.
In due time, the Irdeto cards with Voľná telka’s logo will become available as well.
The Towercom Company actually offers access cards for 29.90 euros.
It is noted that the platform does not include the TV channel Markiza, but it will appear soon, but only for a fee. In due course the platform will also relay HD-channels.
We shall recall that in the near future Ukraine may launch a new DTH-platform, designed by Eutelsat and Datagroup.
