This year’s edition of Mobility Reseller Days will take place in Warsaw on October, 7th and 8th, at the exhibition center of EXPO XXI. The event is addressed to tech companies and entrepreneurs from Central and Eastern Europe , as well as companies from Asia. The main idea of the event is to create a network of close business relations among the companies from the IT and Telecom sector. It is also an excellent opportunity to learn more about the progress of local distribution channels and partnership programs for both the exhibitors and visitors.
We are talking to Tomasz Cieślak, the President of MIT MEDIA Group, the initiator of Mobility Reseller Days.
This is the second edition of the event. If you could sum up the first edition would you say that you have met all your assumptions?
Yes, I can say that, we have met all our assumptions. We spotted a niche on the market regarding industry events and we came up with the idea of creating Mobility Reseller Days. We are organizing The Mobility Trends Gala for five years now and we can see that people from the IT and Telekom sector have the necessity to meet and build close business relations. Such occasions contribute not only to their selling success of particular goods and services but also have a positive effect on brand awareness and its recognition. That is why we decided to continue and organize the second edition.
This edition will be exactly the same as the first one?
No, we have slightly changed the agenda of the event: the first day will be dedicated to IT and Telecom companies; the second day will be open for everybody. The first day will unite all elements of distribution channels, IT and Telecom sales representatives for small and medium enterprises, procurement specialists, exhibitors as well as employees and managers from the biggest Telecom companies. The event will gather the most important and influential people from the Telecom industry in one place that is why it is a great chance for those interested in building business relations not only in Poland but also abroad. We would like to attract business partners from the Eastern Europe and Middle East.
We signed up a cooperation agreement with our partner in China who will help us in terms of establishing Chinese-Polish Telecom collaboration.
The second day of Mobility Reseller Days is dedicated to all enthusiasts of new technologies. Why did you plan the event in October?
The last quarter of the year is always very attractive in terms of technological innovations and high volume of sales. Before there is the start of school classes, later on we have Christmas time and bargains etc. That is why companies decided to launch their new products and services in autumn. That is why we have chosen October. During Mobility Reseller Days you can find new telecom gadgets, devices, applications and services. It is also a perfect occasion to launch a new product and present it to the audience. Last year during MRD our guests had the chance to see the first models of iPhone6, iPhone6+, two new Nokia models and myPhone Luna. Last year two new brands Allview and Wiko were introduced to the Polish audience and had their premiere at Mobility Reseller Days 2014.
This year we will also observe a lot of new technological innovations but for the time being I cannot say anything more…. You have to come and see by yourself !
The last edition of Mobility Reseller Days was under the patronage of high rank government institutions and media. How about this year?
This year’s edition has shown an equally great interest. We are proud to host patronages of: The Ministry of Economy, Office of Electronic Communications, The Major of the City of Warsaw and Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. In media we concentrated mostly on IT and Telecom titles, as well as popular business and lifestyle headings.
