The Infomir Company, the world-famed manufacturer of IPTV/OTT set-top boxes, announced that it was about to release a new model supporting 4K resolution.
MAG352 has a chipset by Broadcom with performance of 10,000 DMIPS, which ensures its operation speed while playing high-quality video and using resource-intensive applications. The built-in memory of 8 GB allows storing media files right in the set-top box.
But the main feature of MAG352 is the option of playing 4K video that along with supporting 3D-format will allow literally transfering the main advantages of cinemas to the subscribers’ houses.
This model will be presented by Infomir at the IBC2015 Exhibition to be held on September 11 to 15 in Amsterdam, along with other innovations, i.e. MAG257, a new base set-top box supporting HEVC, hybrid MAG277 and MAG350, another set-top box for premium segment.
One may see the presentation of innovations while visiting the stand №L09 in the hall 14 at the Exhibition and Conference Centre Amsterdam RAI.
