The Ukrainians prefer information posted on YouTube, more than residents of other countries.

Anna Gradil, YouTube Coordinator in CIS countries, Italy and Ukraine, pointed out at the Ukraine’s digital transition conference that the country became one of the top 10 in watching video hosting resources.
As stated by Ms. Gradil in her report, the Ukrainians watch the vast majority of YouTube content (9 of 10) for educational and entertaining purposes. It is YouTube that the Ukrainians prefer searching for information about various products and services. Thus, according to Rozetka.ua, near 70% of potential customers prior to buy a product examine information about it on the web resources. To provide customers with this information, the online shop opened a YouTube channel, which, according to Vladislav Chechetkin, the owner of Rozetka.ua, has already 650,000 subscribers and over 100 million views.
According to statistics presented by the Agency of Internet Rights supervising 16,000 YouTube channels, the most popular among the Ukrainians are videos for children (11%), comic videos (10%), social and political information (9%), computer applications, products and services (8%). On average, the Ukrainians devote 3 minutes and 40 seconds to watch one content item on YouTube.
