Ukraine has launched a new TV service “Home TV”. It is available to subscribers to “Home Internet” by “Kyivstar”.
As the Mediasat’s reporter informed by the press office of the national telecom operator, the new TV service is actually available in over 100 Ukrainian cities enjoying Kyivstar FTTB network.
This service allows subscribers to watch television and video-on-demand simultaneously using four media-units (TV-set, PC, Tablet or Smartphone).
We shall recall that the “Home TV” service was run by “Kyivstar” in a test mode in late October. The first cities were Zhitomir and Krivoy Rog. The partner of “Kyivstar” for the project is the international digital TV provider Viasat.
The basic set-top box for watching “Home TV” service will be Dune HD 171 TV. The fact of signing corresponding contract was released to the Mediasat’s reporter by the press office of the company “Dune HD Ukraine”.
