At the end of the III quarter of this year, the company reported its revenue growth of 8.3%.
This information was released by the “Vedomosti” edition referring to the Holding’s official data.
Two quarters earlier the revenue performance of the “Gazprom-Media” dropped by 3.1%.
Most of the profits (80%), the Group received from placing advertising products. Over three quarters, the Russian advertising market declined by 19%.
The Holding’s assets are represented by terrestrial TV channels like TNT, “Pyatnitsa” (Friday), NTV, “Match TV”, “2×2”; satellite channels like “NTV-Plus”; printed media and ten radio stations. The Group also incorporates a cinema, a sales house, producers of news products and video services.
The company’s revenue growth is associated primarily with increasing viewership of entertainment resources of the “Gazprom-Media”, i.e. TV channels “2×2”, “Pyatnitsa” (Friday), TV-3, previously owned by the “Prof-Media”, and TV channel TNT.
