Launches of several space vehicles were dropped out of the Russian Federal Space Program.

As the “TASS” informs, the Federal Space Program (FSP) of Russia up to 2025 was amended resulting in discarding launches of some spacecraft (SC).
So, the new draft FSP prepared by the “Roskosmos” to be submitted soon to the Government of the Russian Federation for its approval, dropped out launches of the following communications satellites:
• two SC “Doppler”;
• one SC “Express-AMU-8”;
• two SC”Express-AT”;
• nine SC “Gonets-M1” (Messenger).
• But at the same time, three SC “Gonets-M” (Messenger) were added.
So, according to the amendments to the FSP, the number of communications satellites to launch will be reduced by almost a third, i.e. from 60 to 44. There will be also reduced the number of SC in the orbital constellation, i.e. 41 satellites instead of 53.
The satellites “Express AMU8” and two “Express AT” were scheduled to be launched in 2023, and it was suggested to allocate RUR 1.2 and 10.8 billion for their funding. The launch of nine low-orbiting satellites “Gonets-M1” provided for the allocation of RUR 15.79 billion, and the launch of two satellites “Doppler” – RUR 11.1 billion.
