Netflix followed by the video service ivi.ru to operate in Ukraine

The Russian video service ivi.ru started operating in Ukraine. In addition, it is reported that the service is now available to users in the market of some CIS countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Armenia and others.
We shall recall that the plans of the Russian largest online cinema to entry into 11 new markets became known first in November last year.
It is worth pointing out that at the beginning of this year, the Ukrainian users along with the audience of another 129 countries gained an opportunity of accessing the world’s largest video service Netflix.
At the same time, the strong positions on the Ukrainian market were already taken by the online video services like Megogo, Divan.TV and OLL.TV.
The information message of ivi.ru states that the company was set up in 2007, and started operating as online cinema in 2010. Today, the service’s free-per-view catalogue makes available a lot of video content of different genres. The service contains also the pay-per-view premium content.
