A methodology for determining digital TV coverage areas is set up

The state enterprise “Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies”, commissioned by the Council of Europe, has worked out the technique “Metrology. Determining Coverage Areas of Digital Terrestrial TV Broadcasting Network under DVB-T2 Standard”, as stated on the website of the National Broadcasting Council.

The regulatory document, which was already featured by Mediasat, was put on the State Register of Measurement Techniques on December 31, 2015.
This technique specifies procedures for determining population coverage by digital terrestrial TV broadcasting services under DVB-T2 standard. It can be applied as a governing document that standardizes procedures for determining transmitter coverage areas and multi-frequency digital TV network under DVB-T2 standard.
