The Union of Broadcasting Organizations Denmark (UBOD) and the International Broadcasting Multimedia Platform of Ukraine signed a cooperation agreement.

This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Information Policy.

UBOD will recommend to 17 telecom operators, being parties of the signed agreement, to add the TV channel “UA TV” into their networks. The negotiations on specific Danish regions and cities, where the Ukrainian TV channel can be available, will be held in the near future.

In addition, the Israeli company “Orbit” form the city of Bat Yam, accounting for over 10 thousand households, has already put the TV channel “UA TV” into its digital TV package (IPTV). Now, the city’s residents can watch the Ukrainian TV channel in digital quality.

We shall recall that the Ukrainian International Broadcasting Channel was launched in October last year. It is available on the Internet, on its own YouTube channel, as well as it is possible to receive its signal from three satellites like Amos 3 (4.0°W), Azerspace 1 (46.0°E), Galaxy 19 (97.0°W).

Mediasat already reported that on November 4 last year, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the international broadcasting law.

It became known earlier that the “UA TV” may appear in the cable networks of Canada and Australia, as well as in hotels of Egypt, Turkey and Bulgaria. In Ukraine, it is available in the packages offered by VOLIA and MEGOGO service.

Mediasat also featured that the Ministry of Information Policy had announced upcoming changes that would affect international broadcasting platform “UA TV” and the news agency “Ukrinform”.
