April 20, the innovation and educational center HUB 4.0 held the official presentation of the first Ukrainian online TV channel BrainTV dedicated to the IT-industry.
As announced by the TV channel’s founders, viewers may see intelligent educational programs in the BrainTV’s airtime, covering events and projects in the IT market. The channel broadcasts on the official website, as well as in the packages of video services Divan.TV and Megogo. In the near future it is also expected to run it on the platforms FainoTV and OLL.TV.
“The BrainTV’s team has ambitious plans for the project evolution, a huge stock of enthusiasm and a high-level professionalism. No doubt, the project will become a mouthpiece for the IT/Telecom market and business in general. Despite the goal of designing an intelligent educational product, which is laudable, the editorial staff will cover industry events to the full, as there are a lot of them now. From now on, the BrainTV will be available to Megogo subscribers, however, only to those who live in Ukraine, which is about 11 million users monthly”, as the Mediasat reporter was told by the Megogo press office.
“The Divan.TV, as an expert in the telecom market, can observe the demand for educational content, but if previously its main audience were students and their parents, today we are planning the “Education through TV” service to satisfy a new market segment like IT-audience. Dare I say it, the launch of the thematic IT-channel BrainTV will affect positively the IT-market and will become the driver of its growth”, as affirmed by Andrey Kolodyuk, Divan.TV’s founder.
“The Divan.TV is proud of partnership with the BrainTV channel. We have always supported young innovative channels that had a say to their audience. We are pleased that now, thanks to the Divan.TV, the channel will be available to watch not only in its web-version, but also on large Smart-TV screens, as well as on tablets and smartphones, which is very important for IT pros. The BrainTV previously declared its desire to become a kind of PR-manager of the Ukrainian and Global IT-market. We support this desire, and for our part, we will also promote the channel in 200 countries worldwide where it is available in our service”, as summarized by Arkadiy Kanyuka, Executive director at Divan.TV.
We shall recall that the BrainBasket Fund’s launch of the first Ukrainian IT-industry TV channel became known at the end of last year. Then it was announced that the channel would broadcast in Ukrainian and English.
