During 2014-2016 years a trend for increasing number of domestic TV channels with satellite broadcasting has been observed, as stated on the website of the National Broadcasting Council.
In 2014, the number of such channels was 101, and now 122. In addition, there became available more foreign channels from the European Union in the Ukrainian cable networks, while the number of the Russian Federation’s ones has significantly decreased.
Let us recall that there were available 72 Russian TV channels in the Ukraine two years ago, and there are just 14 of them now.
