Setanta Sports company became the exclusive rights owner to broadcast the matches of the English Premier League (EPL) in Kazakhstan for the next three seasons, starting from 2016/17.
Setanta Sports Kazakhstan TV channel is the channel broadcasting the matches of the English Premier League, it was launched on September, 24 and will be broadcasting up to six live games on a weekly basis. Broadcasting is in Kazakh and Russian languages.
Setanta Sports Kazakhstan will be the third TV channel that belongs to Setanta Sports Channel group available on the market where Setanta Sports and Setanta Sports + TV channels are already present offering broadcasting of La Liga, Series A, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga matches.
Adding to the list of the of the English Premier League matches means that Setanta Sports will provide coverage of matches of the five leading European football leagues and matches as well as the football matches of the Cup of English football league, qualifying matches of the World Cup, NHL, competitions of the Absolute Fighting Championship, Formula 1, the Championship of France on rugby and boxing matches.
