The president of the largest cable provider in Ukraine leaves his position

Sergey Boiko, President of Volia, who was the Head of the company for fifteen years, has decided to leave his position. This was announced by “HB Business” newspaper.
Mr. Boiko explained his decision by intention to do his own business activities that will be related to provision of consulting and services in the sector of corporate management in the field of telecommunications.
However, Sergey Boiko said that after leaving the presidency he will continue to cooperate with the company as an advisor of Gyorgy Zsembery, the General Director.
Since 1996 Sergey Boiko worked at position of Head of the Legal Department and the main legal advisor in SigmaBleyzer company. Two years later, he joined the board of directors of this company. Since 2002 he took position of the president of Volia company. In 2008, a number of providers were united a under a single brand Volia under his leadership, they provided services in 19 cities of Ukraine. Sergey Boiko was the mastermind of the operator transition to digital broadcasting format.
