The Russians offered to Turkey their assistance in the development and manufacturing of communication satellites.
This was announced by the press service of Information Satellite Systems company.
“The Russian side expressed its interest in the development of projects in the field of design, manufacturing and launch of communications satellites in the interests of Turkey” – the report says.
Nikolai Testoiedov, the Director of Information Satellite Systems, participates in the work of the joint intergovernmental Russian-Turkish commission on trade and economic cooperation and is the “head of a leading Russian company in the field of telecommunications spacecraft designing”.
It is known that ISS is engaged in the production of satellites of Express series. In addition, the company develops and manufactures surveying, rebroadcasting and navigation spacecraft.
