Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine postponed the transaction on purchase Trimob 3G-operator by MTS Ukraine.
This information was reported by liga.net.
As it became known, the applicants of the deal requested prolongation the terms of proceeding. The reason is that applicants must submit the information to the AMC till December 01, 2016 which may affect the decision on the transaction.
Details are not known yet.
The representatives of Ukrtelecom, the owner of Trimob 3G-operator, explained that they are not the applicants. MTS Ukraine does not give any comments on this information.
As it was informed, the Antimonopoly Committee started to consider the issue of market concentration on the upcoming deal between MTS and Trimob early in II quarter of 2016.
Both companies have the equivalent licenses for 3G-frequencies in 2000 MHz band. Also, both companies control 30 MHz band.
