According to Kabelschik, agreement between these two countries on tariffs revision has already been achieved.
Some operators of Kyrgyzstan have already been notified of the reduction of tariffs for the Internet traffic.
The representatives of the State Committee of Information Technology and Communications of Kyrgyzstan reported that the price of 1 megabit per second will be discussed at the planned meetings.
Negotiation dates are not known yet.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan is planning to return tariffs in the range of USD 10-15 per megabit for Kyrgyzstan operators. This decision was taken after there was reported a twofold increase of the prices for Internet traffic in Kyrgyzstan because of increasing the tariffs by Kazakhstan suppliers.
