Finland acquired the rights to the format of “Make Me Laugh” show and will implement its adaptation in the spring 2017.

“Kvartal 95” Studio was presented at the largest media content MIPCOM European market that started in Cannes on 17 October.

As it is known, the format of “Make Me Laugh” show has already been sold to Vietnam and China, and now Finland is seriously interested in this project, thereby this country has bought the rights for adaptation and has already started the production. At the moment, there is announced the casting for the Finnish version of the show.

Yellow Film & TV production will deal with the development of the next adjustment, and the premiere is to be held in spring 2017 at one of the Finnish TV channels.

“The implementation of the format in Finland is another successful step in international expansion of our content. And it’s very interesting. In some sense, production of our project “Make Me Laugh” in different countries is an experiment. Each country has its own specifics of the humor, and it becomes clearer to us. The same format implemented in China, Lithuania, Vietnam or Finland looks different, although there are some universal rules – good jokes, artistry, talent and charisma of the participants are appreciated regardless of their nationality” – said Vladimir Zelensky, the  director of “Kvartal 95” studio.
