Azerbaijani Satellite Azerspace-1 Adds two Georgian TV channels to its Broadcasting Pool

The channels’ broadcasting will be available on the frequencies of 11095/H/27500, as reported by the Trend Agency referring to JSC “Azerkosmos”.

Two Georgian TV channels Trialeti TV and Palitra TV have already run commercial broadcasting via the satellite Azerspace. In addition, the “Azerkosmos” and the radio channel Damar FM signed an agreement to broadcast on the frequencies of 11027/H/7500.

At present, the Azerbaijan satellite has been broadcasting a total of 80 TV and radio channels.

Azerspace-1 was first put into orbit on February 8, 2013. Its mission was to build multiservice networks VSAT, to provide digital TV signal, as well as to ensure government communications. The satellite serves Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central Asia and Europe.
