Ukraine Suspends TV and Radio Broadcasting Cooperation with Russia

The Cabinet of Ministers broke the agreements with the Russian Party in the field of television and radio broadcasting, as UNIAN informs.

The decision was adopted during the government meeting held on November 30, and the suggestion itself was submitted by the Minister of Information Policy Yuriy Stets.

“This is a draft resolution on terminating the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Ukraine on TV and Radio Broadcasting Cooperation, and the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on Information Cooperation”, as the Minister stated.

Let us remark that last week, the Ukrainian State Film Agency canceled state registration and revoked distribution certificate for another seven Russian TV series.
