Azerbaijan Initiates the Penultimate Stage of Transiting to the “Digital”

The analog broadcasting was virtually cut off in Azerbaijan, as the Sputnik informs.

So, starting from December 10, the analog broadcasting will be cut off in the following districts: Tovuz, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Aghjabadi, Shamkir, Goygol, Gadabay, Dashkasan, Samukh, Ujar, Agdam, Sabirabad, Saatly, Zardab, Kurdamir, Ismailli, Ganja, Barda, Naftalan, as well as Gakh, Balakan, Zaqatala, Shaki, Oghuz, Gabala, Goychay, Aghdash, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Goranboy and Tartar.

The final phase is sheduled to cut off broadcasting in another 14 districts, and it will take place on December 20.

The analog TV was already willfully refused by the Absheron Peninsula and the capital of Azerbaijan, later on, the outdated broadcasting mode was simultaneously cut off in three republic’s districts.
