The launch will be arranged by the Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia, as the TASS informs.

The idea of that launching was made public by the First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Council of Muftis and the Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia Rushan Abbyasov at the press-conference, held just before in Moscow.

It also turned out that the TV channel would broadcast in Russian all over the territory of Russia.

The launch of TV channel remains up in the air.

“There is an idea of launching a Muslim satellite TV channel, maybe on a subscription basis, which will tell about the traditions, culture and customs of the peoples inhabiting our country. We are actually at the stage of negotiations and meetings, and we will probably launch it in some test mode in 2017”, as Mr. Abbyasov explained.

For the time being, the work on the future TV channels’ content is under way.

“In the long term, we will probably broadcast in Arabic and in other countries”, as the mufti summed up.
