Russian Extreme Sports TV Channel Starts Broadcasting in the Ultra HD Format

In early February, the channel Russian Extreme Ultra started its operation on the Russian TV market. This is reported by the online magazine “Kabelschik”.

On February 1, in the Russia’s pay-TV networks there started broadcasting the TV channel Russian Extreme Ultra. Its broadcasts are entirely dedicated to extreme sports, from freestyle motocross to diving, snowboarding, freeride and other lesser-known sports.

For the time being, the Russian Extreme Ultra’s content library accounts for about 30 hours of acquired video and over 100 hours of 4K/Ultra HD videos of own production. In addition, it broadcasts feature films and documentaries about extreme sports.

The Russian Extreme Ultra is a successor to the channels “Russian Extreme” and “Russian Extreme HD”, which are distributed by the company “Signal Media”.
