NTV-PLUS Launches TV Package in Ultra HD

The NTV-PLUS will start broadcasting in the ultra-high-definition standard (Ultra HD or UHD) all over Russia.

In April, the satellite operator NTV-PLUS will start broadcasting in the ultra-high-definition standard in the Far Eastern Federal District, Siberia and European Russia. This is stated by the company.

The statement points out that three channels in the UHD standard will be incorporated in the operator’s Basic Package . However, it is not specified exactly what kind of them.

The operator will not charge subscribers an additional fee for UHD channels.

The NTV-PLUS also made a pont on content filling its Basic Package in the Far East. It will incorporate more than 130 channels. The subscribers will also get available thematic packages like VIP-Kino (15 channels), Supersport (8 channels), Detskiy (9 channels), Nochnoy (3 channels).

For the residents of Siberia, the NTV-PLUS’s offer will be also completed with new channels, including in the ultra-high-definition format.
