The online cinema MEGOGO signed an agreement to broadcast the channel Kvartal TV worldwide. Now, the joint eponymous TV product of the Kvartal 95 Studio and the 1+1 Media will be available outside Ukraine, in the countries of the video service’s presence.
Kvartal TV along with another more than 100 channels became available to users as far back as in the summer of 2016 in two packages: “Legkiy” (Light) and “Optimalnyi” (Optimal).
The MEGOGO subscription outside the CIS and Baltic countries works by somewhat different rules. The users get available around 40-50 TV channels, now including the comic channel Kvartal TV.
Kvartal TV in foreign countries, just like other channels within the MEGOGO service, will be available on any platform, i.e. web site, Smartphones and tablets, SMART TV-sets and set-top boxes.
In January of this year, Kvartal TV gave up free-to-air satellite broadcasting, and encoded its signal by means of the Verimatrix conditional access system.
Last spring, MEGOGO users were granted an option to watch content on Apple TV.
