“Sobytiya” is a Ukrainian TV Project, which was most frequently mentioned in the media in 2016, according to the study held by the Kwendi TV Promo Monitor.
The study of the Ukrainian TV channels’ promotional activity held by the Kwendi TV Promo Monitor shows that the news broadcast “Sobytiya” (Events) (Channel Ukraina) ranked first in terms of mentioning in the media among the top 6 channels’s projects in 2016.
In 2015, “Sobytiya” was also the leader in terms of mentioning among the top 6 Ukrainian TV channels’ projects.
The rest of top 6 channels that gained the lead in terms of mentioning in the media in 2016 are as follows:
· 1+1 – the talent show “Golos Krainy” (The Voice of the Country).
· ICTV – the political talk show “Svoboda Slova” (The Liberty of Speech).
· Inter – the news project “Podrobnosti” (The Details). Let us remark that a large number of analyzed publications were devoted to various conflicts around the channel, rather than the promotion of the news line.
· Novyi Kanal – the social reality show “Revizor” (The Auditor).
· STB – the dating reality show “Kholostyak” (The Bachelor).
Within the Kwendi TV Promo Monitor’s study, there were analyzed more than 80 online and print media.
The study of Ukrainian TV channels’ promotional activity is conducted by the Kwendi TV Promo Monitor on a monthly basis and incorporates information about the PR-activity of channels and the volume of their direct advertising.
