On March 1, due to the lack of a sufficient audience of subscribers, the 3S.TV channel ceased broadcasting.

“The society and business do not yet feel any need for independent mass media, since they are ready to consume oligarchic channels’s blanks”, as written by the CEO and Managing Partner of Savik Shuster’ TV channel 3S.TV Pavel Elizarov on his profile in the social network Facebook.

According to the portal Sat-Digest, engaged in tracking changes in satellite orbit, 3S.TV suspended broadcasting via the satellite Amos 2 (4o W) as far back as on February 28.

The TV channel 3S.TV started its full-scale satellite broadcasting in September 2015.

The setup of a new Savik Shuster’s own channel became known at a meeting of the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine in December 2014. Initially, the channel was named “Pravda Russian World Chanel”, and later it was renamed as 3S.TV.

In January of this year, in his interview to our edition, Pavel Elizarov alerted to a possible closure of the channel. “If we do not advocate the TV channel 3S.TV, so we will turn hand to public activities”, as he stated.
