The telecom operator Vodafone Ukraine increased revenue and subscriber base last year. This is stated in the operator’s report for Q4 2016.

The Vodafone Ukraine’s income in the fourth quarter of 2016 amounted to UAH 2.8 billion. This is 15.3% higher against the same period in 2015. The operator also managed increasing own revenue, i.e it was UAH 11.1 billion in 2016, which is 11.1% higher against 2015.

The company’s net profit was UAH 0.3 billion at final quarter-end 2016.

The OIBDA increased by 23.8% in Q4 2016, against the same period last year, and by 2.4%, against Q3 2016.

Over the past year, the Vodafone managed attracting 425 thousand new users, thereby increasing the total subscriber base up to 20.9 million people.

The fourth quarter of last year was the operator’s record in terms of growth rate of receipts from data traffic, i.e. over UAH 2 billion. And this is an increase by 97%, against the same period in 2015. As a result of last year, the volume of data traffic increased by 210% within the Vodafone Ukraine’s network.

In 2015-2016, the Vodafone’s investments in building and modernizing its network that supports 3G and 4G standards amounted to UAH 10 billion.
