April 3, Donetsk regional TV channel “Do TeBe” started broadcasting via the satellite Amos-3 (4°W). This is stated on the channel’s official web site.

The signal is relayed in the standard DVB-S/MPEG-2 on a 24-hour basis and in an unencrypted mode.

Let us recall that in October 2015, the Donetsk Regional State TV and Radio Company, in the context of setting up public broadcasting in Ukraine, was transformed into the Donetsk Regional Directorate of the National Television Company of Ukraine. Since 19 January 2017, in view of establishing a public broadcaster, it was set up the “Donetsk Regional Directorate” as a branch of the Public Joint Stock Company “National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine” (abbreviated to the branch of PJSC “NPTU” “Donetsk Regional Directorate”).

In addition to satellite broadcasting, the TV channel “Do Tebe” is available in the terrestrial TV network in the Donetsk Region, which remains under control of the Ukrainian authorities.

The Member of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine Sergei Kostinsky in his post in the social network Facebook points out that the next regional TV channel, the signal of which will be uploaded to the satellite, will be the Lugansk public broadcaster “LOT”.

Let us recall that in the autumn of last year, the satellite broadcasting was started by the Crimean regional public channel “UΛ: CRIMEA”.
