The Cabinet of Ministers established the National Science and Technology Development Council of Ukraine. The newly created government agency will be chaired by the country’s Prime Minister, as the news agency “Interfax” informs.
The decision to establish the National Science and Technology Development Council was adopted at the Wednesday’s meeting of the Government.
The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Grinevich believes that such a decision will have the best impact on the development of technology and science in the country.
The National Science and Technology Development Council of Ukraine will consist of two committees; i.e the administrative and scientific ones, and each of them will have a staff of 24 employees.
“The National Council is a permanent advisory and consultative body that is affiliated to the Government in order to ensure an effective interaction of the scientific community, executive authorities and real economy in shaping and implementing the common national scientific and technology policy”, as the “Interfax” reports.
