The state-owned firm “Ukrinmash” within the government concern “Ukroboronprom” starts establishing a single cybersecurity center in Ukraine. This is stated on the “Ukroboronprom”’s web site.
In setting up this center there will be involved NATO information security specialists, consultants of the Turkish company HAVELSAN and specialists of NTUU “KPI”.
The Turkish company HAVELSAN presented its own cybersecurity center, which has been successfully operating for over 10 years. The Turkish delegation stated its willingness to assist the Ukrainian party in creating a modern cybersecurity center in Ukraine to be “even better than the Turkish one”.
At the same time, it is reported that as consultants for setting up that center, there will be invited a team of “white” hackers DCUA under the leadership of Nikolai Ilyin, which led the international cybersecurity rating, based on past year’s performance.
There are enough highly qualified cybersecurity specialists in Ukraine. Therefore, now the key goal is to unite them to create a super-powerful cybersecurity center, as the “Ukrinmash” says.
