The media holding 1+1 Media presented the OVVA application for the Samsung Smart TV platform.

The video service OVVA.tv, incorporated into the 1+1 Media Group, is now available for free to Samsung Smart TV users on the basis of the platforms Tizen 2016 and Orsay 2015. This is stated in the company’s official press release.

The “OVVA” application for Samsung Smart TVs allows watching TV content of domestic production in HD-format, without violating copyrights.

The 1+1 Media promises expanding the “OVVA”’s availability on all the Samsung Smart TV models, as well as developing an application for Smart-platforms of other TV-set manufacturers.

“It is important to emphasize that this application was designed in-house through R&D, so we got not only a finished product, but also improved our design expertise in such projects”, as stated by Anna Tkachenko, Digital Director, Strategy and Development Director at 1+1 Media.

Let us recall that the service OVVA.tv was run in February 2016. On the same occasion, the 1+1 Media presented its system for scanning the web for illegal content.
