The owner of the pirate online cinema FS.TO Andrei Komlichenko was placed under house arrest. During the investigation, Mr. Komlichenko must remain in custody on UAH 5 million bail, as the TSN reports.
The judicial restraint dissatisfies prosecutors, therefore they are about to appeal that court ruling.
Let us recall that the online cinema FS.TO with pirated content and a millionth audience was banned by the Cyber Police last autumn.
A bit later, the Chief of the Ukrainian Cyber Police stated that the main reason for FS.TO’s shut-down was tax evasion, and not piracy.
In early April of this year, FS.TO resumed its operation on the new domain FS.LIFE, but in a while, the resource suspended operating.
