VOLIA Acquires an Operator Working in Kharkov and Western Ukraine

The company VOLIA buys the telecom assets of the Airbites Group.

The VOLIA has entered into an agreement with the Airbites Group to acquire its assets. This is reported in the statement posted on the website volia.com.

The agreement implies that from June 1, the telecommunications services for the Airbites subscribers in Lviv, Rivne, Khmelnitsky, Lutsk, Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk will be provided under the VOLIA trademark.

And while in the first five cities VOLIA has been already providing services, so the company enters the market of Ivano-Frankivsk for the first time.

The news release also points out that by July 1, the VOLIA will complete integrating the Airbites’ infrastructure into its network. After that, Airbites subscribers will get availbale all services and tools provided by VOLIA.

Over the past three years, the VOLIA has invested more than UAH 1.5 billion in acquiring and modernizing telecom assets.

In particular, in the autumn of last year the company acquired the assets of the Vinnitsa provider “Pan Telecom”, as well as bought out the Melitopol operators Vivanet and TV-Pont.

Let us recall that on June 1, the VOLIA increases the subscription fee for telecom services by an average of 12.6%.
