The tariffs change for prepaid and contract subscribers, as well as for small, medium and large business subscribers, who are connected to the service “Free Roaming for Business”.

The national telecom operator “Kyivstar” keeps on developing mobile services in roaming, and it reduces the price of calls, mobile Internet and SMS for its subscribers in 30 countries as of 11 July 2017. This was reported to the Mediasat by the company’s press office.

So, in 16 countries like Egypt, the United States of America, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Sweden, among others, there will be set the most profitable tariffs of so-called first roaming group, which already includes most European countries, Turkey and the CIS. For example, for prepaid and contract subscribers, the price of calls in the above countries will be reduced by half to 2.00 hryvnias per minute, 1 MB of Internet traffic will cost 0.35 hryvnias, and SMS-messages – 1 hryvnia.

In 14 countries like Algeria, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, among others, there will be set tariffs of the second roaming group, where the calls cost 4.00 hryvnias per minute, 1 MB of Internet traffic – 0.60 hryvnias, and SMS – 1 hryvnia. Thus, for the above countries, the operator reduces the price of calls 12 times, the Internet traffic will be some 200 times cheaper, and SMS-messages – 8 times less.

“Our goal is the comfort of each subscriber during his travelling abroad. Therefore, we have focused on creating the most transparent and understandable tariffs, which are available to every Ukrainian. Feeling the growing demand for communication in the roaming of new countries, we go on offering the most profitable tariffs for both voice and Internet services”, as the decrease in cost of services was commented on by Olexandr Galushko, Chief of International Calls and Roaming at “Kyivstar”.

Thanks to the fact that “Kyivstar” is part of the international telecom group VEON, which serves more than 235 million subscribers worldwide, the company gets bulk discounts from mobile operators-partners and has a possibility to draft beneficial offers for its subscribers in roaming.
