Discovery Communications and NSTU signed an agreement to broadcast 2018 Winter Olympics and 2020 Summer Olympics.
PJSC “National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine” has concluded a sub-license TV rights agreement to broadcast 2018 Winter Olympics and 2020 Summer Olympics in Ukraine with the leading global media company Discovery Communications, the portfolio of which incorporates Eurosport TV channel family. This will allow the public customer to broadcast the Olympic Games almost throughout Ukraine. This was announced to the Mediasat’s reporter by the Discovery Communications’ press office.
The events will be broadcasted in SD and HD-simulcast on the website of the TV channel UA:PERSHYI.

Less than 50 days from now, 2018 Winter Olympics, to be held from 9 to 25 February, start in South Korean Pyeongchang. UA:PERSHYI will show various sporting events with the total running time of as many as 100 hours. A special attention will be paid to the most popular sports in Ukraine and the performance of the national Olympic squad. Moreover, the audience will be able to watch the Olympics events on sports TV channels Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2.
Let us recall that before, Anna Pak Burdin announced in her interview that Discovery negotiated with Ukrainian terrestrial channels to rebroadcast Olympic Games in Ukraine.
