The media holding “Media Group Ukraine” is the winner of the tender for broadcasting matches of the national team of Ukraine in the UEFA Nations League, the qualifications for UEFA Euro 2020 and World Cup 2022, as well as the exclusive right to show EURO 2020 finals in Ukraine.
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) once again recognized the reliable partnership with the “Media Group Ukraine” and the successful experience of cooperation with the assets incorporated into the holding. The “MGU””s TV channels “Ukraina” and “Football 1”/“Football 2” won the tender for broadcasting the most important UAFA events.

“We signed a long-term agreement with the Union of European Football Associations on broadcasting matches of all European teams for the next 4 years. And this is more than 1000 duels, 140 match days and 200 time slots. To cover all the above broadcasts, we will launch live-studios with stand-ups from all match days, studios for preparing TV audience for matches and highlighting them. In addition to the regular European qualifiers, we will offer our audience a totally new product – the UEFA Nations League. This tournament is designed to raise the level and prestige of football among national teams. Control matches are gradually put on the back burner, and they are replaced by matches with a real sports component like an opportunity to qualify for the World Cup and EURO finals. I think that the new tournament will be a profit for everyone: fans get even more spectacles and emotions, and more than 300 matches will complete our broadcasting grid.
