Belarus residents can now watch UATV Channel in cable networks. This is stated by the broadcaster’s official website.

Reportedly, the channel is available to subscribers of the operators like Modern Electronic Technologies and Ether. From now on, it is planned to connect it to some more cable networks.

Lyudmila Berezovskaya, CEO at the state-owned enterprise Multimedia Broadcasting Platform of Ukraine, is looking forward that UATV will not be the only Ukrainian TV channel in Belarus. Since the content of national production generates an impressive interest of the Belarusians, it is expected that the colleague channels would soon step after the international broadcaster.

“In fact, UATV has become the first Ukrainian TV channel to be incorporated into the cable networks of the Republic of Belarus. But I am sure that other Ukrainian TV channels will follow it, since the Belarus audience’s demand for the news from Ukraine and about Ukraine is enormous”, as Mrs. Berezovskaya reported on.

Let us recall that last month, the Ukrainian international broadcasting channel UATV was granted a license to broadcast in Belarus. The order was signed by the Minister of Information Aliaksandr Karliukevich.
