Huawei is about to launch its own audio service in Russia. Russian users will be able to access the music application by this year-end, as Kommersant informs.

Huawei Music will work like Apple Music and Google Play, offering subscribers a monthly subscription to music and music videos, at a price nearly equal to the tariffs of the abovementioned services.

According to experts, this application’s launch on the Russian market is a good strategy for Huawei, given the fragile relationship between this Chinese company and the United States. The audio service will be able to attract an impressive number of users, but due to frequent failures of Huawei applications, it will be hard to make money on this project, as analysts anticipate.

Let us recall that at the end of February in Korea, Huawei and local operator LG Uplus presented their commercial Gbps 5G network and a series of 5G virtual reality services.
