The TV channel “Ukraina” may appear in HD-quality after encrypting its signal on the satellite. This is featured by Detector Media.
According to Bogdan Zhdanov, Director of the Broadcasting Network Development Department of the TV channel “Ukraina” is planning to show its HD version in the pay-per-view segment.
“So, subscribers will be able to choose a free terrestrial SD signal or a pay-per-view HD signal from IPTV, OTT, cable or satellite providers”, as commented on by Mr. Zhdanov.
Let us recall that the launch of its main channels in HD-format was announced by StarLightMedia. This plan’s execution is scheduled before 2020.
