“ETNO CHANNEL” Obtains a Satellite Broadcasting License

November 24, following the resolution of the National Broadcasting Council, the company”Nashe Media” from the village of Mamaevtsy in Chernivtsi Region was granted a license for satellite broadcasting of TV channel “ETNO CHANNEL”. The license was awarded for a period of 10 years.

According to the “Nashe Media”’s representative, the company has long been operating as a studio-producer with international registration, and it managed accumulating quite a lot of various cultural and artistic content to complete the ethnographic channel’s 24-hour broadcasting.

The airtime of “ETNO CHANNEL” will provide viewers with broadcasts on folklore, ethnography, traditions, customs, and way of life of the Ukrainians and other nationalities in Ukraine.

4 hours of the channel’s broadcasting time will be devoted to music and songs. The share of own-produced programs will be 21 hours a day, that is, 87.5% of total broadcasting. The broadcasting format is culture and entertainment.

The channel will broadcast via the satellite Eutelsat Ka-Sat 9A (9°E).

Let us recall that “ETNO CHANNEL” has been operating in Ukraine as a music ethnographic channel for near six months, broadcasting within OTT services along with another channel of modern Ukrainian-language music “NASHE MUSIK”.
