The Media holding Gazprom-Media made an agreement with Maxim Telecom, the wireless internet service provider in the Moscow subway. It implies broadcasting video resource Rutube and advertising in subway to be implemented by the sales house Gazprom-Media Digital.

According to Ъ-Online edition, referring to the representatives of the communications operator and the Media holding, Rutube video hosting is available on the portal Vmet.ro as a player relaying entertainment programs, broadcasts and other media products of resources within the Gazprom-Media, a well as produced by other companies.
The video content will appear in subway trains simultaneously with its appearance in web resource Rutube (where it appears a few minutes after live broadcasting). Depending on the path length, one can choose short programs and broadcasts (eg, Comedy Club) or full shows and serials.
The partners plan to earn on selling advertising, intended to precede video broadcasting. According to a representative of Gazprom-Media, it is a very profitable project for the company, as mobile TV contributes to the appearance of additional audience.
The speed of 100 Mbit/s, provided by the communications operator in the subway, even allows you to watch video in HD-quality in rush hours. The company believes that the service will be enjoyed by up to 50% of website visitors, which are slightly more than 1 million people a day and 8.3 million a month. More than half of them (53%) visit the site using iOS devices.
This is not a new form of partnership for Rutube. The service works under similar conditions with social networks like Odnoklassniki and VKontakte.
