Public TV and Radio Start Operating in the Summer of 2017

Public broadcasting will be run in June 2017, as the Minister of Information Policy Yurii Stets reported to the Interfax news agency.

“I am confident that the public television and radio will be launched in early 2017. I am confident that we will fulfill our obligations without any further delays”, as the Minister stated.

At the same time, Hugues Mingarelli, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, emphasized that the launch of public broadcasting in Ukraine would contribute to the mass media openness in general.
